Privacy policy
Last updated 14 October 2026
This policy explains what information Menuara collects when restaurants use our service and when guests open a Menuara menu, and how we use it.
Who we are
Menuara provides digital menus and dine-in ordering for restaurants. You can reach us at menuaraofficial@gmail.com.
Information from restaurants
When a restaurant creates an account we store the account email and the details the team enters: restaurant name, menu, prices, photos, tables, staff accounts and settings. Passwords are handled by our authentication provider and are never visible to us.
We keep billing records such as invoices, the plan chosen and how each invoice was paid.
Information from guests
Guests don’t need an account. When a guest sends an order or a request, we store what was ordered, any note the guest typed, the table and the time, so the restaurant can serve it. We don’t ask guests for their name, phone number or payment details.
We count menu opens per table to show restaurants how their menu is used. These counts don’t identify guests.
Contact form
If you write to us through the website we store your name, email, optional phone and restaurant name, and your message, so we can reply.
How we use information
To run the service, show each restaurant its own data, send account emails, issue invoices, keep the service secure and improve it. We don’t sell personal information and we don’t use it for advertising.
Service providers
We use trusted providers to run Menuara: Supabase for the database, sign-in and file storage, and Vercel for hosting. When a restaurant uses an AI feature, the menu pages it uploads are sent to our AI provider only to process that request. Providers may process data outside Bahrain under appropriate safeguards.
Cookies and browser storage
We use only what the service needs: keeping you signed in, remembering your language, and keeping a guest’s order on their phone until it is sent. We don’t use advertising cookies.
How long we keep information
Restaurant data is kept while the account is active and for a reasonable period afterwards so a returning restaurant can continue. Billing records are kept as long as the law requires. You can ask us to delete an account and its data.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete personal information we hold about you, in line with Bahrain’s Personal Data Protection Law. Email menuaraofficial@gmail.com and we’ll respond within a reasonable time.
Changes
We’ll update this page when our practices change and show the date of the latest version at the top.
